Using adaptogens as a start to a healthier lifestyle

Of all the mushroom powder information out there, I’ve decided to do my first blog about the Red Reishi Mushroom.  I can’t promise this article will make the headlines but I do believe it will be helpful for the many questions I receive online and at the Farmers market.  Most likely you just cannot go wrong with Reishi mushroom.  The benefits are endless.  And, for the majority of my customers who are using Dot’s Creamy Reishi or Reishi Earth, they have reported back to me with some amazing results.  For starters, when I began to experiment with the many mushroom blends, I was very impressed with the benefits of the Reishi mushroom.  Of course, people can’t just go by a claim online that is said to be true.  I think the biggest question is,

“Can this work for me?” 


After experimenting with the Reishi mushroom powder and a host of other blends, personally, I found the results of the Reishi mushroom were quite amazing!!! It really does make sense that’s it is considered to be a superpower food!  

Why Reishi?  Honestly, it tastes really awful if you just ate it right out of the bag.  However, when you consume Reishi with an array of other herbal blends, such as our Creamy Reishi found in our Dot’s packets, you will begin to notice a huge difference in energy! Of course, regular use makes all the difference in the world!  My first impression with Reishi mushroom was bronchial.  I was amazed at how well I could breathe!  Literally, I felt as if I could breathe all the way down to my toes!  When I increased Reishi intake (mind you, I’m not talking about consuming ¼ cup day, I’m saying regular small proportions), I began to notice a sustained energy for my first 4-6 hours of the day.  As I began to experiment with other superpower herbs and mushroom blends, the results just kept getting better.  I think the best part was how much I could get done in one day! 


And how much better I began sleeping at night!

  5. Red Reishi is an adaptogen.  An adaptogen is what causes your body to adapt to its environment.  Adaptogens stay tuned in to what your body needs at that particular time.  If your body needs energy, it helps with energy, etc.  (See Healthline, “The No BS Guide to Adaptogens”). 

  6. Helps with depression, mental exhaustion and mood swings!  Helps with sleep issues and benefits the adrenals. (Article from, www.wellandgood.com on, “Reishi Mushrooms, What are the Benefits?”). 

In conclusion, Reishi is known to help boost the immune system while boosting the white blood cell count.  It is anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor and anti-aging.  It helps your body restore itself from natural degenerate conditions brought on by the natural aging process.  It helps fight fatigue and stress.  Helps tremendously with the bronchial passages and with asthma.  Helps with depression.  Gives you a good night’s sleep.  

In the last 6 months I have had the following reported to me with these results from our Reishi blends:  

  • I’m in a much better mood! 

  • I can actually get going in the morning! 

  • Hormonally, I just seem to be in a better state of mind.

  • I’m getting more accomplished..

  • There’s no crash.  Very sustained energy.
